A $100 million USD debt raise was structured to be used in top Co as equity for a leveraged buyout of a manufacturing business from a private equity group. This deal was a water and racial equity initiative, transitioning a colonial-owned company into Black ownership in the USA. The transaction was supported by high-net-worth foundations in the USA and a government fund. Several private credit providers and big brand private equity funds competed by providing term sheets for this deal.
£70M Equity Raise for Fintech’s Reverse Takeover
